Lauren is proud to be an IBCLC with The Lactation Network, which participates with most Anthem, United Healthcare, BCBS and Multiplan PPO plans as well as some miscellaneous others. Cigna Plans:

Tricare/Medicaid Plans:
Strong as a Mother offers 50% off our self pay rates for in office and virtual postpartum lactation appointments only. No discounts are available for in home visits. Please scroll to our blue "Book Now" button to book under Medicaid available appointments.
Of note, I do charge a $75 travel fee for all in-home visits effective 4/1/2025 due to the opening of our new flagship office location at 4 Hitfield Rd. in Newtown, CT. Of note, we do have one standard set of 12 stairs to our home office. I can also bring you in from a back entrance to limit step ups to about 3 total. If you have a medical limitation and can not climb any stairs, please contact me directly at lauren@strongasamother.net to schedule.
